Introduction and Background The East Beds. Model Railway Society (EBMRS) is a group of like-minded people that share an interest in promoting Model Railways. We have been in existence for around 44 years; known previously as ‘The Biggleswade & District Model Railway Club’. The club meets every Tuesday evening in The Roundabout Club, Sandy, from around 19:30 – 22:00. We host 1 exhibition a year, generally in early February, which is held in the main hall of Stratton Upper School, Biggleswade. There are 2 layouts that the club presently operate to exhibition standards: Sutton and Cheriton Bishop. These are detailed on other pages of this site. They have received invitations to many shows around the UK. We have also been and exhibited in Belgium three times.
